Exercise Do's
- Always warm-up before workout and cool down after workout.
- Shorten the exercise duration so that we don't get tired.
- Make running and cardio short but high intensive. For instance, spot run for 10 minutes, take a break, and run again. Repeat it 4-5 times. The exhaustion can make exercise boring, so look for variety. Swap weight training or running with swimming, rope-climbing or kick-boxing.

- Excessive sweating increases the chances of muscle cramps, muscle pull, fatigue and dizziness. So, stretch the muscles between workouts.

Exercise Don'ts
- Avoid wearing synthetic clothing, as they don't absorb evaporate sweat.
- Never stop abruptly. Our heart rate is higher during workout, stopping abruptly can cause a heart failure. Take at least few minutes to cool down.
- Do not work out under the sun without applying a high SPF sunscreen.
- Do not over-train. After exercise our body needs to rest and recover. At least 24 hour after heavy muscle strain is advised.
Myth: Taking coffee before exercise gives us more energy
Reality: It's actually dangerous particularly during summer. Caffeine is diuretic, it makes the body lose water. Instead begin with a glass of cold water
Myth: Exercising more and eating less helps in slim down quicker
Reality: Exercise should be short and intense. We should maintain the calorie intake our body is used to, as while exercising heat makes us lose a lot of energy . It's better to switch to seasonal-friendly foods and increase the fluid intake.
Myth: Surviving summer exercise means more body endurance
Reality: High temperature actually decreases our body endurance. So we should emphasize on strength training to make your bones stronger. Moreover, rather than aerobic exercises and long distance running, we should focus on meditation and yoga.
Myth: Eating less carbohydrates helps in slim down quicker
Reality: We should strike a balance between food and exercise. Rather than going for crash diets, try to amend our lifestyle and food habits. In short, keep our goal of getting healthier simple and realistic.
